AGR10

The backstamp style AGR10 is rarely seen and consequently the time range of use is uncertain.

The only patterns on which it has been seen are 4921, 5391,  5623, 5982, 5983 and 6016.  However Tarragona is more commonly found with AGR2 and occasionally AGR5 & AGR7; whereas Trellis is more commonly found with AGR7 and occasionally AGR5.

As a transfer perhaps it was designed as a more sophisticated replacement for AGR2 but for whatever reason, (the war?), it was soon replaced by AGR7, (a rubber stamp). Certainly, the pieces often have a facsimile signature so therefore AGR10 is not younger than AGR5.
