Notes: So very few examples of TR-R's work have been seen that it is difficult to define her time of employment as a tube-liner for Charlotte. We do not know when she started, but presumably it must have been either very late in 1934 or at the beginning of 1935 otherwise more of her work would have been seen with Period 1 backstamps. The Chain pattern was advertised from the end of 1935 to the end of 1936 and Tudor Rose was featured in April 1936. So the earliest she could have left would have been towards the end of 1935/ early 1936. |
